Eagle 911
This design can be cut as a normal reflective gemstone or treated as a frosted image. For both, start by cutting and polishing all pavilion facets. For the frosted image, you can frost the facets that create the eagle image after polishing using a worn 360-grit or new 600-grit lap. Using 360 or 600 after polishing requires a stationary lap that is, turn off the motor and just rough up the image-forming facets by scraping them once on the lap without grinding. Then follow the same sequence for meetpointing. The stones I recommend using for this cut with no frost are topaz, corundum, and cubic zirconia.
