Technique: Wire and Clay
Description: Art Clay Silver, along with wire and beads can be used to make amazing designs. Students will make a pendant or two from metal clay with an opening to be wire wrapped with sterling silver wire and beads.
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of how to work with metal clay
Materials Included in Required Kit: 20 g Clay, 10g Syringe, roller, various gauges SS wire, bail back, sand paper.
Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: A variety of small and medium beads, paper, playing cards, pencil, chain nose and round nose pliers, wire cutters, paint brush, container for water, files, work surface (i.e. smooth plastic cutting board), bottled water, X-acto blade, Optional: Task lamp (recommended), extension cord, magnifying glasses, texture sheets and cookie cutters.

Online Class registration has closed. You can register for this class in-person in the Class Registration area of Bead Fest Philadelphia. Registration for each class section closes 15 minutes before the class begins.
