Byzantine Segment Lampwork Bracelet,

Description: Learn how to create the popular Byzantine chain weave! Once mastered, we will explore various ways of using the Byzantine segments to create beautiful jewelry! As a bonus, you will also learn how to make the flowers needed to create a Byzantine rose bracelet.

Prerequisite: Experience properly opening and closing jump rings is helpful.

Materials Included in Required Kit: Copper (practice) jump rings, sterling silver jump rings in 2 sizes, lampwork beads (a variety of colors will be available and chosen on a first come first served basis), sterling silver roundel beads, sterling silver wire, sandpaper, a sterling silver clasp, wire twist tie, and printed instructions (great for later reference)

Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: Required: Two pairs of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, wire cutters rated for 16-gauge wire (ultra flush recommended), soft tape measure, felt tip permanent marker, and a work mat. Optional: Work light, extension cord, and magnifier. Note: For your convenience, all of the required materials can be purchased from the instructor at www.debradanyi.com.
