Bead Fest Miami 2008 Classes Sheraton Miami Mart 711 NW 72nd Avenue Miami, FL 33126 Miami-Dade County Classes begin on Friday, April 11th and will continue through Sunday, April 13th. Classes will be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, in 3-hour or 7-hour sessions: 9-12, 1-4, and 9-4. Seven-hour sessions include a break of about one hour. Get the most from your seed bead class! All levels of seed bead classes use a needle and thread to stitch together small beads. Knowing the stitch basics is a prerequisite for all intermediate and advanced classes. Beginners are encouraged to review and practice stitches before class; use the basics section of stitches in any issue of Beadwork as a guide. Be prepared with supplies to make your class experience a total success: most classes require you to bring beading needles, beading thread, scissors, a beading mat, and especially a task light with a long extension cord.
