Technique: Bead Stitching

Description: Learn how to combine flat peyote, brick, Ndebele and square stitch to create this stunning neckpiece based on a gold Byzantine antiquity. Accented with Bali silver findings, this piece is sure to be a favorite for years to come! Project will not be completed during class.

Prerequisite: Must have familiarity with at least 2 different off loom beadweaving stitches.

Materials Included in Required Kit: Size 11 Delica beads in 2 colors, size 15 seed beads, 4mm druk beads, 8mm druk beads, Bali silver spacers, Bali silver clasp, Nymo thread in size D, needles. Full color instructions and color photograph of finished piece.

Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: Task light, beading surface, bead dish, scissors, thread conditioner, chain nose pliers, scissors.
