Description: Learn four basic bead embroidery stitches, and then learn how to tap your creative energy and create beautiful designs for bead embroidery in this workshop. Using the elements of design as a spring board, Amy Clarke Moore will talk in depth about creating designs for bead embroidery. Learn how she uses these pragmatic tools (color, line, texture, shape, and pattern) to create her magical images, then learn how to apply these tools to your own work.

Materials Included in Required Kit: A special mix of Japanese and Czech size 11° seed beads organized in a color spectrum, threaded sharp size 11° needle.

Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: These items are recommended, but not required: Sharp scissors for thread, colored pencils, sketch pad, apron, and an Ott light or other portable lamp.
