Description: In this three hour class we will explore how handmade felt is made with its light and sculptural attributes. It can be the basis for beads, brooches, and sculpture. Emphasis will be on embellishment, and the production of findings made from piano wire.

Location: Convention Center

Materials Included in Required Kit: Fleece, steel wire, seed beads, sequins, thread, needles.

Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: Shoe box-size Tupperware container to hold water, two terrycloth towels, wire cutters, and round needle nose pliers if you have them.

Class Fee (includes kit): $110

Online Class registration has closed. You can register for this class in-person in the Class Registration area of Bead Fest Santa Fe. Registration for each class section closes 15 minutes before the class begins.
