Description: A freeform wire bead that is simple or extravagant and always evocative. With several gauges of wire and lots of imagination, you will create a one of a kind pendant. Larger gauges and interesting textures make this basic bead look complex and mysterious. Take home liver of sulfur if you want to accentuate the detail with an antique finish.
Location: Convention Center
Prerequisite: Skills using pliers and some experience making coils and shapes.
Materials Included in Required Kit: 16-gauge silver wire, 18-gauge silver wire, 20-gauge silver wire, 22-gauge silver wire, copper wire for practice, liver-of-sulfur (optional), 0000 steel wool
Students must bring these REQUIRED MATERIALS to class: Round nose pliers, long round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers, flush cutter, work surface, polishing cloth, ruler, task lamp, magnification if needed, ruler

Online Class registration has closed. You can register for this class in-person in the Class Registration area of Bead Fest Santa Fe. Registration for each class section closes 15 minutes before the class begins.
