FEATURE STORY

Lapidary Journal proudly presents the winners of the 2006 Jewelry Arts Awards, our annual design competition. Winners were selected by the following panel of judges: Chris Darway, designer, teacher, PMC instructor and metals artisan for over 30 years; Jan Katz, curator of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and former jewelry designer; and Karen Lorene, owner of Facere Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle, Washington, who is celebrating her 37th year in business. We'd like to thank our judges and everyone who entered, congratulate our winners, and encourage all to enter next year's competition.
