Lapidary Journal proudly presents the winners of the 2006 Jewelry Arts Awards, our annual design competition. Winners were selected by the following panel of judges: Chris Darway, designer, teacher, PMC instructor and metals artisan for over 30 years; Jan Katz, curator of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and former jewelry designer; and Karen Lorene, owner of Facere Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle, Washington, who is celebrating her 37th year in business.
